ABOUT

I’m Leigh Norén, and I’m here to help you with your sexual health.

Sexual problems aren't "champagne problems"  – you deserve to have a sex life that gives you joy.

I’m Leigh (she/her), a half-Swedish, half-English sex therapist, sexologist, and relationship therapist with 12 years of coaching, counselling and therapy experience. My specialties are low sex drive and mismatched sex drives, orgasmic difficulties, communication problems, emotional difficulties connected to sex, as well as helping couples keep their relationship alive.

With methods based on Sexological Science, Affect Focused Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Counselling Experience and Scientific Evidence, I help those who wish to have sex that feels good and pleasurable.

My on-demand sex coaching courses and intimacy tools are designed to help you understand how your unique desire works, how to be comfortable talking about sex with your partner and take the stress and shame out of sex so you want to want sex again. Through solo and partner exercises, you can be on your way to a healthier and more pleasurable sex life. Read my reviews and see what my clients have to say about working with me.

About Sexual Health

Starting my online centre has long been my goal; a place where individuals and couples can turn to receive support, guidance and help to overcome sexual health difficulties related to sexuality. Because sexual problems aren't "champagne problems", and everyone deserves to have a sex life that gives them joy.

“Sexual health is an integrated part of our overall health which is why problems associated with it really can mess things up, even in other areas of our lives. Moreover, sexual issues are often awkward and shameful to discuss. In coaching and sex therapy with me, we work together to reduce the shame and allow you to feel ownership over your own sexuality. It really is possible to find routes to good sex.”

I have a Master of Science in Sexology, a BSc degree in Social Work and a therapy degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Affect Focused Psychodynamic Therapy.

I've previously worked as a sex therapist within a non-profit organisation in Sweden (Föreningen Storasyster), specializing in helping survivours of sexual assault with their sexuality and sex life. Sessions at the non-profit organisation centred around pain, desire, communication and setting boundaries during sex.

I've also immersed myself in sexual desire by, among other things, writing my dissertation during my master's degree in sexology, on men and low sexual desire within long-term relationships. Much of this knowledge is also showcased in my online coaching program, Re:Desire, which helps people of all genders get their sex drive back.

Why is a healthy sex life important?

  • Intimacy and Connection: It can foster a deep emotional bond and strengthen the connection between partners.
  • Physical Health: Regular (wanted) sexual activity can have various health benefits, including reducing stress and improving immune function.
  • Emotional Well-Being: It contributes to overall personal happiness and satisfaction, as well as relationship satisfaction and joy, too.
  • Communication: When you can talk about sex you can talk about anything together, and discussing needs and desires can improve overall understanding between partners.
  • Trust and Security: A healthy sexual relationship can foster trust and a sense of security in the partnership.
